Question:
The Combined Federal Campaign kicked off in my shop today. For those who don’t know what it is, I’ll explain. Whereas all military people have extremely steady income, and whereas the charities would love to come on base and bother us, and whereas the government doesn’t want dozens of people bothering us year round, the government told all charities to apply to be in the Combined Federal Campaign, and all service members would be contacted every year. We can decide whether or not to contribute, but we are all contacted. The only requirement is that you have no more than 30% overhead. Most of your money has to go to the cause you support. The infamous charities that have 28% (or less) of their money go to the cause, and most go to offices and salaries (hey, I just described welfare) are not on the list. I looked thoroughly, and found many christian groups, and some jewish groups. WLPA (Witches League for Public Awareness) and WADL (Wiccan Anit-Defamation League – if it still exists) were not on there. Does anyone know how I can contact them and convince them to apply for the list? I mean, even the SETI program is on the list! Harvest Dancer

You can contact the WLPA at http://www.celticcrow.com and they might be able to tell you how to contact WADL. Have you considered contacting Witchvox, you can contact them at http://www.witchvox.com and see if they might be able to work out something.
